Has Suburban Sprawl Hit Religion, Too?
If you've followed the recent local press about area catholic churches, then you already know. Some are merging. Others closing. Are churches the latest mass victim of this economic crisis or has this been a long time coming? Are there less downtown parishoners because people continue to move toward the suburbs?
