We are grateful for ...

I am thankful for whatever environmental influences in my upbringing allow me to feel true gratitude and empathy. I meet so many people and we are exposed to so many through the media who seem completely void of the ability to feel either of those in an honest way. Is it Catholic guilt? Growing up with my grandmother living with us? Having four siblings? Chores? Having pop or a trip to McDonalds be an extravagance?
Being allowed to make mistakes? Being exposed to real and raw emotions? Raised knowing that others had far more - yes, but many had so much less. Yes to all of those influences and more. I'm thankful for being able to think and feel and choose. (I am also thankful for fruity pebbles.) - Christine

I am thankful for my health, my family and of wonderful memories of loved
ones that are no longer with us...and of course....aunt susie's rolls!
I am also very thankful for being able to talk my way out of a ticket this
morning:) - Bev

Thank you to two parents who have showed me that a good life is one that gives eternally.
Thank you to a husband who has kept his promise to make our dreams come true. Together.
Thank you to two boys whose natural curiosity and love of life is so very refreshing.
Thank you to all (some daily) who have reminded me that life's a journey, not a race. Phew! - Leah
